Māhūwahine Meets Two Spirit Peeps of New Mexico

Aloha everyone.  I just wanted to share a photo that was taken on my last night in New Mexico while there for a Coronation.  The Two Spirits seen in here drove three hours from their reservations to have dinner with me.  Upon eating, we sat in a circle and each shared our stories of how life has been for us "coming out."  I realized we all had similar experiences during our transitioning periods, yet individually unique.  Moreso, through this gather we empowered and inspired one another to move forward through higher education!
